Important: Registration deadline for the 2025/2026 school year is February 25th, 2025.

Registration Process for Students CURRENTLY ENROLLED in a PVNC School

Complete the Internal Transfer Form on the Parent Portal 

Grade 8 Students - You will receive information regarding Registration and Course Selection directly from our Student Success Teacher during one of your Elementary School visits. 

Grade 9-12 Students - The Guidance secretary will reach out to request any documents required prior to booking an intake meeting.

Registration Process for Students coming from OTHER SCHOOL BOARDS

Step 1. Create a Parent Portal account.

Step 2. Using the 'School:' drop down menu, select Holy Trinity Catholic Secondary School (Courtice).

Step 3. Click 'Open' on PVNC Catholic DSB Student Registration form - Clarington.

Step 4. Fill in the registration form and click Submit when complete. 

Step 5. Email the following documents to the Guidance Secretary (jbrabin@pvnccdsb.on.ca), or drop them off in person in the Guidance Office:
- Proof of Date of Birth  -Birth Certificate/Certificate of live birth/Passport
- Proof of Residency (2 documents) - most recent utility bill/ property tax bill/property purchase agreement - this is required for address verifications to ensure accurate student  records and determine school district eligibility
- Student History Form (Secondary Students Only) - sign consent portion of form prior to sending to the Principal/VP at the current school to fill-out)
- Transcript (Secondary Students Only) - request from Guidance Office at your current school
- Credit Counselling Summary (Secondary Students Only) - request from Guidance office at your current school
- Most Recent Report Card (Secondary Students Only)
- Course Selection Sheet (Grade 8 Students Only)
- Consent to Share Personal Information - Educational/OSR Review
- Upload Immunization Record directly to the Durham Region Health Department
- Acceptable Use of Technology Agreement (CURRENT School Year Registrations Only)

Other required documents if applicable:
- Record of Landing and Proof of Citizenship (Permanent Resident card)
- Separation Agreement and/or Court Order identifying the legal custody and access arrangements
- Individual Education Plan (I.E.P.)
- Emergency Response Procedure for Medical Conditions Form

Step 6. Intake Meeting - after submitting your registration documents, Guidance will review your application and contact you if any additional information is required. Students transferring from another high school will require a meeting with a Vice Principal before attending class at Holy Trinity C.S.S.

Students looking to attend Holy Trinity Catholic Secondary School must submit all required documents to begin the registration process.

Please note: submission of Registration does not mean the student is automatically enrolled.

The personal information contained on the forms is collected in accordance with the Education Act and the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. Emergency Response Procedures information is collected for the purpose of responding to a medical emergency and will be reviewed annually. Questions with respect to this information should be directed to the school Principal.
