A total of 30 parents braved the snowy evening to attend and a few representatives from various media departments covered our first meeting. All and all a very successful night! A great thank-you goes out to Marguerite Masterson and Jen Puersten from the parent committee of M. J. Hobbs Public School for hosting this event.
We do have many dedicated parents that are more than willing to assist in making a difference with the youth here in Clarington.
Parents, educators and administrators are welcome to come join in this coalition team.
The purpose of this meeting will be to discuss various topics, cyberbullying, drugs and substances, the youth criminal justice act, community problems and other areas of interest based on the teams suggestions. We would like to also utilize some of your experiences as well as expertise in different areas through this coalition.
