Dr. Karyn Gordon is one of North America's leading authorities on understanding and motivating Generation Y; her style is both dynamic and inspiring.  Dr. Karyn is also a leader in the understanding and development of emotional intelligence in children, preteens and teens.  Thus, we have invited her to speak on "10 Strategies to Teach Empathy and Gratitude in Children and Teens".  This talk aligns quite nicely with our school board's vision of teaching different monthly Catholic Virtues (such as Empathy and Thankfulness) as well as with Catholic Education Week.  We have confirmed Dr. Karyn Gordon for the evening of Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at Holy Trinity Catholic Secondary School, Courtice.
