The HT Social Justice group has been discussing doing a short - "Teddy Bears of Hope" Campaign here at HT - asking students to donate 1 teddy bear and message attached (good quality used/new) that would be then sent to Uganda to children living in poverty. (Those who have giving to those who do not) Spreading care with a Teddy Bear!

Miss Canada Bridget Nickerson visited the school championing the cause, speaking to a number of classes, answering questions about her role and the campaign in general. She was accompanied by Sylvia Stark, the founder of the Teddy Bears for Hope Foundation.

The campaign will run from Monday the 19th - October 27th. Bear drop off will occur during lunches in forum.
