This year's coat drive for The Refuge Outreach Centre in Oshawa wrapped up today, December 15th. It was a huge success with many coats, jackets, snowpants, hats and mitts being donated from students, staff and our community at large. Social Justice members had the pleasure of getting coats ready today for pick up and delivery. May we never forget how blessed we are, and remember our responsibility to help others who are less fortunate. On December 1st, 26 HT students 'walked in another's shoes' at the Refuge and Oshawa. Students were moved and suprised at the reality of homelessness and youth.
