On May 28th, Holy Trinity students spent the day at the Toronto Scott Mission where they acted as Stewards of Faith. Students of Mrs. Serra's grade 12 religion class spent the day helping out with various tasks. Some of the students worked in the day care, while others helped out in the accounting department. Most students helped where the demand was needed the most - in the kitchen serving food and preparing food hampers. This experience was powerful because we realized how many people needed assistance. With our help, the Scotts Mission fulfilled another successful day helping the many individuals in Toronto. |
