The 2009 Kawartha Art Gallery's - Best of High School Art show was held May 14-17. All Holy Trinity participants should be proud of the work submitted. Prize winners at the show, and the media group in which they won or received honourable mention were:

• Painting - Samantha Arnold for Meré et Grandmeré
• Painted Stool - Samantha Arnold for A le Café avec René
• Evolution of Design from Art History - Ashlyn Beharrel for Homage de Fraganard
• Pen and Ink Drawing - Samantha Arnold for Self Portrait
• Pen and Ink Drawing - Victoria Singh for Afghan Girl

Samantha Arnold was also awarded the Autumn Treasures scholarship, in memory of Joanne Heathe-Menger and David Bierk, as one of the top artists in the show.
