Ski Stowe Vermont I

Our Truly Enjoyable Mountain Adventure

Forty four students plus four staff headed south of the border to the beautiful Stowe region of Vermont.  All travelers experienced the many challenges and the joys of skiing/boarding on a true mountain terrain.  Beautiful conditions set up for plenty of snow, but it was the weather during the trip that brought together the whole experience for everyone. From blowing sleet and clear blue skies,  mist and freezing rain, to powdery flakes, mother nature gave us a taste of it all, and we all survived to say ‘Bring it on’, this is awesome.

Accommodations at the Round Hearth Inn, though Spartan in nature, fulfilled the needs of all, nourishing our stomachs and our souls for three days of mountain riding. The conditions were excellent, the line-ups minimal and the opportunity to ski and board on Mount Mansfield and Spruce Mountain with such good company gave all who went the kind of memories that last a lifetime and leave one with the desire to return often.

Special memories come from the simplest of times, often those we rarely consider.

As such the 2011 trip to Stowe, gave us those simple times and those special memories.
