Trinity Earth at the 2008 Groundwater Festival

This year, Trinity Earth participated once again in the Durham Region Children’s Groundwater Festival.  On September 24, 2008, a group of students from Trinity Earth along with staff advisors Mrs. Bradshaw and Mr. Lyons interacted with grade three and four students from across the Durham Region.  Our volunteers worked with the young children to teach them in a meaningful way that explained what ground water was and why it was so important.  The students investigated the ways in which we can ensure that our ground water stays clean and the importance of good stewardship.

It was a tremendously successful day, and our representatives from Trinity Earth were model teachers and students!  A great way to start off our year.
